By not staying in one place for too long, they preserved the natural beauty and resources of the forest.

Another important thing that happned was killing of  the rakshasas, or demons, that were causing trouble. These demons threatened the peace and safety of the people and sages. By eliminating these threats, the Pandavas helped protect the common peopl. It was a unique and noble thing that they did. When has the Kings visited forest?

So in a way, the exile and staying in forest was necessary.

Their time in the forest wasn’t just a period of suffering. It was a time of great service to the public. They protected the innocent and maintained the balance of nature. This experience also helped them grow as leaders and warriors.
